The short version

We use no non-essential cookies: no advertising, no tracking and no analytics cookies. That’s why there is no cookie banner.

Strictly necessary cookies that may be set

Our host, Cloudflare, may set the following cookies only when needed to protect the site. They are exempt from consent because they are strictly necessary, and they are not used to track you across sites.

• __cf_bm: set if Cloudflare’s bot protection is checking traffic. Helps tell people from bots. Expires after 30 minutes of inactivity.
• cf_clearance: set only if you are shown, and pass, a Cloudflare security check. Remembers that you passed so you aren’t asked again.
• cf_chl_rc_i, cf_chl_rc_ni, cf_chl_rc_m: may be set during a Cloudflare security check, so Cloudflare can identify technical problems with the check.
• Turnstile: if a form on one of our sites uses Cloudflare Turnstile to block spam, the check can involve the same Cloudflare security cookies listed above. It runs only when you use the form.

Visit statistics

If we count visits, we use Cloudflare Web Analytics, which works without cookies and does not identify you.

Example designs

The example sites under /examples/ set no non-essential cookies. Their maps and booking tools load only if you click to show them, and those services have their own policies.
