Who we are

Yesmo is run by Giuseppe Sabatino trading as Yesmo. We are responsible for your data (the “controller”).

Address: [Business address] · Email: hello@yesmo.co.uk · ICO registration number: [ICO registration number]

We work by email only, so we don’t make phone calls.

Who this covers

  • Businesses we email about websites (prospects)
  • Customers who buy a website or a Care plan
  • Visitors to yesmo.co.uk

What we keep

  • Prospects: company name and number, business email, town, type of business, a contact name if it’s published, and a short note about your current website (for example “not secure”). We also keep our emails, your replies and any “stop” requests.
  • Customers: names, email, phone, billing address, details of the work, the content you send for your site, and invoices and payment records. If you pay by card, the card details are handled by the payment provider. We never see them.
  • Website visitors: this site sets no non-essential cookies and runs no tracking. If you use the contact form, it opens your own email app; we receive only what you send. Our host keeps short-lived technical logs (such as IP address) for security.

Where it comes from

For prospects: public sources only. That means Companies House, your business website, public business social media pages and online directories. Customers give us their details directly.

Why, and the legal basis

  • Emailing businesses about our services: legitimate interests. We only cold email limited companies and LLPs, and we send no more than 3 emails. Our legitimate interests assessment is available if you ask.
  • Building and looking after your site: contract.
  • Accounts and tax: legal obligation.
  • Remembering not to email you: legitimate interests, so we can respect a “stop”.
  • Keeping this website secure: legitimate interests.

Who sees it

Only the services we use to run Yesmo, acting on our instructions. Our main provider is Cloudflare, which hosts this website and our clients’ websites, handles our email routing and form spam checks (Turnstile), and holds clients’ domain names. We also use an email provider and accounting software. We never sell data.

Some providers, including Cloudflare, may process data outside the UK. Where they do, we rely on UK adequacy regulations (for example the UK–US data bridge) or, where needed, the UK International Data Transfer Agreement (IDTA) or Addendum.

How long we keep it

  • Prospects who don’t reply: deleted 12 months after our last email.
  • “Stop” requests: your email address and the date go on a do-not-contact list for as long as we do marketing.
  • Customers: for as long as we work together, then 6 years for tax and legal reasons.

Your rights

You can ask to see your data, correct it, delete it, limit how we use it or move it, and you can object to how we use it. You can always say no to marketing. Email hello@yesmo.co.uk and we’ll reply within one month.

Opting out

Reply “stop” to any email, or email hello@yesmo.co.uk. That’s it. We’ll stop straight away.

Complaints

Please tell us first, and we’ll try to put it right. You can also complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office: ico.org.uk/make-a-complaint, phone 0303 123 1113.
